It was another successful and fun edition of the Pat Curran Memorial Tournament, this time in an exciting new 3-on-3 format.

This past Saturday saw ten teams competing at the University of Ottawa's Minto Sports Complex to see who was the best playing in tight spots from the blue line in.

Teams were split into two divisions after playing two initial games for seeding - an A division and B division.

For the next few hours, teams battled it out to try and earn their spot in the finals of their respective division. Competition was tight and many of the games came right down to the wire.

In the end, it was Pintonburg who were able to defeat Heartbreak Kids in the A division final by a score of 5-3, being crowned the champions. This game was actually tied until 30 seconds left when Pintonburg's top scorer took over and sealed the fate of his team with two clutch goals.

Congratulations, fellas!

The consolation final in the A division had Labatt Decisions facing off against Blades of Steel, two teams that played hard all day long. This game was no different - the teams had to resort to a shootout to settle this contest, which was eventually won by Labatt Decisions!

In the B division, Gerry is Fat found their form along the way after a slow start to the tournament and eventually won the finals over the Super Dudes by a score of 10-2. They seemed to get better and better as the day went on, culminating in a statement game in the final with spectators looking on!

It was a fantastic day of sportsmanship and competition. Thank you to everyone who played in this year's tournament. We hope to see you again next year!
