The 2018-19 National Hockey League (NHL) season has now concluded, and that means it's time to crown our champion for the CARHA Hockey fantasy hockey pool.
It was a tight race right down until the very end, and none of our champions were set in stone until the last game concluded on Saturday, April 6th.
Second and third place was even decided by a tiebreaker!
As a result of goals scored, team "CHIEF WAHOO" ended up in third place with a total of 1,698 points, earning himself $150 to CARHA Hockey's new store.
The tiebreaker resolved to see team "Burger" in second place, also with 1,698 points, earning himself a $350 gift certificate to Sport Chek!
Lastly, and most importantly, team "Peter Whelan" is our hockey pool champion! Peter had a late surge towards the end of the season and climbed the pack to a grand total of 1,701 points this season. Peter is our grand prize winner of $500 gift certificate to the NHL Shop!
Thanks to everyone who played and followed along this year, we appreciate the support.
We'll see you next year!
