In The Community
- Bell Sensplex - a state of the art arena facility located in Canada's Capital
Region. The Bell Sensplex is home to a variety of men's and women's adult rec hockey leagues and tournaments.
- Hockey For Heart - The Heart & Stroke's Hockey For Heart program is a
series of adult rec hockey tournaments taking place all across Ontario. The tournaments are fundraisers that see all proceeds being donated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation to support life saving research, as well as the purchase and placement of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in Ontario's arenas.
- Alterna Do It For Dad! - Sunday June 20, 2010 – The Alterna Do It For Dad! Family Run and Walk is one of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation's most successful fundraising events. It features both 10km and 5km timed events, and a 2km Family Walk. Each year more than 1,500 participants of all ages lace up their running shoes for this event. To date the event has raised more than $1.6 million for cancer research and patient care in our community.
