CARHA Hockey World Cup Athletes' Village

One of the best parts about playing rec hockey is building friendships and sharing old hockey stories with the opposing teams. Normally players would just gather in the arena restaurant after the game, but with over 120 teams at the World Cup it would be impossible for all of the teams to meet and talk hockey in an arena.
In order to get all of the teams and players together CARHA Hockey has created the ultimate off-ice destination for players to meet and share in the spirit of sport. Throughout the week, participants of the CARHA Hockey World Cup will be able to gather in the Athletes' Village and enjoy hot food and cold beverages and live entertainment, while getting to know each other and learning about the culture of a variety of countries.
The Athletes' Village has an estimated daily attendance of 1,500 people and includes:
- Seven days of live entertainment with bands and DJs
- Hot food and cold beverages
- Free Internet café with access to Skype, Facebook, and Instant Messaging services
- Video game zone
- NHL games broadcasted on big screen t.v.'s

- Hockey themed nights
- Table top games
- Team photo gallery
