80+ Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Call for Nominations: Southern Ontario

Are you 80 or older and still playing hockey? You are eligible to be inducted into the 80+ Hockey Hall of Fame. We are seeking Southern Ontario nominations for our October 2022 inductions.

For the 10th year since its foundation, the Canadian 80+ HOCKEY HALL of FAME will induct candidates in the PLAYER category, still active at 80 years of age and over, and in the BUILDER category, volunteer hockey convenors who have contributed to the advancement of senior recreational hockey as well as referees. Previous induction ceremonies have been held in Ottawa/Gatineau and Saskatoon. This year the Burlington Oldtimers Hockey Club will be hosting the induction ceremony in Burlington on Saturday, October 22. The BOHC is proud to be welcoming inductees across Southern Ontario. The day will include 3 games, for the new inductees, past inductees and an international game against 80+ players from the USA. The induction ceremony and dinner will be held at the Art Gallery of Burlington.

The 80+ Hockey Hall of Fame is a not-for-profit organization which nationally recognizes active recreational hockey players 80 years of age and over, www.80plushockeyhalloffame.com.

The Burlington Oldtimers Hockey Club is the largest oldtimers hockey club in the world, 1100+ members strong, for players aged 35 and over. It is located in Burlington, Ontario, www.bohc.ca.
