1. CONTEST PERIOD
The CARHA Hockey 50th Anniversary Giveaway (the “Contest”) begins on February 17, 2025, at 12:00 AM EST and ends on April 15th, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST (the “Contest Period”).

2. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, representatives, and agents of CARHA Hockey, its affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies, and immediate family members or persons residing in the same household are not eligible to participate.

3. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the Contest:

1. Post a historical CARHA Hockey photo on a public Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter/X account.
2. Let us know where and when the photo was taken in the post description
3. Tag CARHA Hockey and Include the hashtag #CARHAHockey50 in the post description.

Only one (1) entry will be counted per participant. Entries must comply with all applicable social media platform policies and community guidelines. CARHA Hockey reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate or fraudulent.

4. PRIZES

Early Entry Prize: The first 50 eligible participants to post an entry meeting all requirements will receive a CARHA Hockey 50th Anniversary hat (approximate retail value: $30 CAD).

Grand Prize Draw: All eligible participants will be entered into a random draw to win one (1) of five (5) $500 CAD donations from CARHA Hockey, which can be allocated toward:

• New hockey gear
• Registration fees
• Ice rental costs
• A donation to a hockey-related charity of the winner’s choice

There are five (5) grand prizes available to be won, each valued at $500 CAD. The grand prize draw will take place within two (2) days after the Contest Period ends.

5. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION

• The first 50 participants who qualify for the hat prize will be notified via direct message on the social media platform used for entry. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, a new winner may be selected.
• The grand prize winners will be randomly selected and contacted by CARHA Hockey’s official account within two [2] days of the draw. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, an alternate winner may be selected.
• To claim their prize, grand prize winners must correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing mathematical question as required by Canadian contest regulations.
• Winners may be required to provide proof of eligibility and sign a declaration and release form before receiving their prize.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS

• This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter/X.
• By participating, entrants agree to CARHA Hockey’s use of their submitted photo for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
• Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable. CARHA Hockey reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
• CARHA Hockey is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries due to technical errors.
• By entering, participants release and hold harmless CARHA Hockey from any liability related to the Contest, prize acceptance, or use.

7. PRIVACY

By entering this Contest, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information by CARHA Hockey for the purpose of administering the Contest and awarding prizes. CARHA Hockey will not share personal information with third parties without consent.

8. GOVERNING LAW

This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada.
