CARHA Hockey Safety Series

Starting August 24

Stay tuned! We're launching our new Safety Series to promote a safer sport environment. The awareness campaign will be promoted through our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter) every Tuesday for the next eight weeks.

CARHA Hockey is pleased to be one of 25 organizations to receive support from Canada's Sport Information Resource Centre (SIRC) to focus on education and awareness of concussions and safe sport in our communities.

Save Pond Hockey

Canada's first Save Pond Hockey event is coming to Stonewall, Manitoba, in February 2022! We're excited to support this initiative and join the conversation to inspire climate action.

The event will feature a Save Pond Hockey game with Hayley Wickenheiser and other top athletes, a shinny tournament, skills sessions and competitions, a hockey and sustainable items marketplace, family skating, beer garden, live music, and more!

Q&A with Grant Caswell

Grant started the South Calgary Recreational Hockey League (SCRHL) in 2006 to play games closer to home. For fall 2021 and winter 2022, they're on track for 34 morning and evening teams, the highest it's ever been!
