Al Arseneault knows outdoor rinks! In fact, a main reason he chose his house in Ottawa is that he can see the rink from the window and knew it was a place to make memories with his family.

For 32 years, Al has been involved in maintaining the Lakeview ODR in Ottawa. We were introduced to him as the 'Rink Guru' and had the pleasure of learning more about his involvement and why he's continued to volunteer his time. We've even got a video where Al shares his expertise for other rink operators. 

Thank you to Al and the many others who dedicate countless hours to keeping outdoor rinks active across the country! We are so fortunate to have access to these unique spaces.
