Truth and Reconciliation Through Sports
Keener Jerseys and the Orange Jersey Project
The Orange Jersey Project is designed to encourage action for Truth and Reconciliation while helping educate young athletes about the history of the residential school system in Canada. It prompts the question: “Coach, why are we wearing orange jerseys?” This simple question has the power to change how Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities live together.

Keener Jerseys, a longtime partner of CARHA Hockey, shares the story of how this great project started. Find out how youth hockey clubs can get involved!
