Legal’s Outdoor Rink has been an essential recreational hub for the community this past season for users of all ages and abilities. With the indoor arena closed for the season (due to a major construction project), this has led to the ODR having to be relocated to another area in town. Many of our community groups, including the schools, have had to resort to utilizing the relocated ODR, which has resulted in extra maintenance having to be done by the Public Works team. With no water at the new location, water needs to be trucked in to flood it on a regular basis, to keep up with the favorable condition for user safety. Once the indoor arena is reopened, the ODR will be relocated yet again to another location closer to the indoor facility.
